My partner is HIV neg; (I've seen the lab tests). If he's been giving blood regularly since we've been having unprotected sex, wouldn't he be tested when he does? Would he be notified about a change in his status?

I don't think it was necessary to be so condescending. I know that all blood banks screen donations; I just didn't know if donors were notified or if the donation was simply rejected with their anonomity intact.
