altough not a reliable way to tell if you have HIV or not.

if you have been infected with hiv for awhile your WBC will usualy be lower or abnormal.

if your in the acute phase most people will have Leukopenia and also your palate numbers might be down.

but then again lots of other conditions can cause these.

I don't know where this information you are quoting, but you are sadly mistaken. HIV+ patients have the same counts as people who are not infected. Many things cause variations in white blood cells; you cannot determine your HIV status from it. The only way to find out your HIV status is to take a HIV test.

This information is from thebody and many other sources regarding the drop in WBC and lympocytes and usually palaets during ARS i can refrence if you like. obviously it doesnt happen to everyone but yes the majority during ARS will have this. your viral load gets high your body has been hit hard with this virus and its working to fix it, which it turn will cause the drop in WBC and mainly lympcytes which contain the CD4 cells. and usually during ARS cd4 cells take a major dip and gradually work back up to near normal levels.

and once your in the chronic HIV after many years some will have abnormailities int he blood counts usually being in the low end.

again i said you cant diagnose hiv from this method, and yes this might not happen at all but your CBC does hold clues at times regarding HIV.

do not use this method to diagnose hiv or think you dont have hiv because your WBC is normal. only way is a antibody test at 13 weeks.
