DOCUMENTED OF COURSE!!! If U don't know then don't post in this thread. If you do, please back it up with a document, URL, or website

There is no documentation because no one in this century has seroconverted after 3 months.

I am glad you are starting to realize this. Search as you may, you won't find any credted website with a documented case after 3 months.

None, nil, never.

Is it ture that now-adays with the tests we have, even those with compromised immune systems (those on chemo, IV drug users etc.) will still test positive before 3 months if they are going to?

Many of them do, depending on the severityof there damaged immune system.

Most doctors will suggest a 6 month test for these individuals just because they have clinically proven to have a severely damaged immunesystem which MAY delay serconvertion. Your're right the even people with damaged immunsystem will test within the 13 week mark.

Are you an advocate of a window period of less than 13 weeks for most people? Just curious. I, like many others here, are just trying to learn from those of you who are more knowledgible.

HIV is not something that has a watch. Many people tend to think that is sits around until the 89th day and then your body starts to produces antibodies.

13 weeks is conservative in my opinion, and is suggested to catch even the most out liers. So until the CDC, WHO, GMAC advocate a lower window, I'll stick to what they say.

I don't agree. You can look at the just test + and find people whi did test negative during the 5th and 6th month. While the general statement is most will test + in the first three months, a medical professional will tell you that if you think you are experiencing symtoms to consider testing to 6 months or more. Its a personal call on what you are willing to live with, but be aware and be safe.
