I have high levels of herpe virus in blood no outbreaks was exposed to hiv + and hep c+ with high viral loads for both. If iam coinfected and reactivaton of ebv could i have a delayed seroconversion. I also have a high white blood count and platlet. has reactivation of ebv happened to anybody and is this common when you have hiv or hepc?

Interesting question. I am concerned about seroconversion at 6 weeks, later than usual, and just found out I am weakly positive for mono (EBV). I have had mono (1990), so if I do have mono now it would be a second case (rare) but NOT a reactivation of EBV – that is not how it works according to my Dr. and the reading I have done.
They are retesting tomorrow. If it is Mono (I hope!) it should give a clear reading now that I have been infected longer. I will try to let you know……..

There is some dispute about whether "reactivation" of EBV really happens. Once you're infected with EBV it's always present -- and I have never heard that EBV infection (or "reactivation") can delay HIV seroconversion.
There was one case of Hep C co-infection that appeared to delay serovonversion in a woman with HIV. But that case was quite a while ago, and I'm not sure it would happen with today's more sensitive tests.
