Online testing centers

Does anyone have any experience with the online testing centers i.e. advancedtestingcenter.com, ehivtest.com, etc. Does anyone know if they're reliable? Apparently they give HIV test results over the phone. I'm not sure if this is a good idea. Has anyone tested with these type of companies?

As long as they use FDA approved testing methods, it will not matter how reliable the facility is.
These centers generally give you a test where a blood sample is taken, you then mail it back to them and results are given by phone.
This is also the general practice at a physicians offices. You give blood, they send it to the lab, and the physicians office calls you when the result are in.

I disagree JonCage (sorry). There is only 1 FDA appoved home test and it is from Home Acceses.
The other tests are not FDA approved, so as far as I know no one is monitering the accuracy of their labs etc.
I had a good exsperince with home access - they even stayed on the phone with me while I took the test because I was so sick and scared I wasn't sure I would follow the directions corectly. You can order it online or buy it in the drug store.
