Hi, its me again. I was wondering after several non-reactive results after about 1yr and some time but have oral problems:dry mouth, white hairy tongue with white cottage cheese looking stuff on it, mouth ulcers on the cheeks of my mouth and unable to gain weight and possible purpura markings on palm of fingers and feet. Should I take a hiv2 test to rule out hiv or a pcr dna in case I'm just not producing antibodies? Thanks. I know the 6month period is suppossed to be conclusive but my body shouldn't be like this especially my mouth my tongue should be pink not white. Please answer and God Bless.

No I don't want to have hiv or be angry with her for life. But I am very concerned about these symptoms and the fact that I'm negative on the antibody test after almost a year and a half without further exposures. I guess there are a variety of reasons why a person would keep coming up negative but possibly could be hiv infected? I waiting for the results of my cbc and I pray that all is in range. Because with these symptoms I think my immune system isn't working right. Please pray for me and thank you for your responses. God Bless. I'll respond with my results :)

As far as I know, the only reason a person would come up negative on an hiv test more than 1.5 years after their last possible exposure, is that the person is, indeed, hiv negative.
