I had a 1 time insertive vaginal exposure with a female (professional escort in Latin America) of unknown status. I wore a condom and tested negative at 5 months via Elisa (sent to a quest labs by my pcp). I've had 1000's of symptoms and was wondering if this could be hiv??? any thoughts?

Okay.
You wore a condom. This is protected sex and no risk.
You tested past the 13 week window period. You are negative.
I must ask. How could you have had "thousands of symptoms" ??
If you are sexually active you should test for all sexually transmitted infections, not just HIV.

It really doesn't matter who you have sex with, it's what you do that puts you at risk. You should always assume that everyone you have sexual contact with is HIV positive. You used a condom and so your risk is zero. HIV is pretty difficult to transmit from female to male. One unprotected incident is estimated to be a 1 in 1200 chance of being infected. Using a condom would reduce this risk to 1 in 120,000. Relax, you definitely don't have HIV!

hi
regards from india
You did not acquire HIV from the exposure you state, you are HIV negative.
I dont know what is causing those "1000" symptoms, however i can re-assure you that HIV is NOT causing them.
Goodluck
