Real Window new

if you do some research, in the old days the window was 6-12 weeks and the CDC told us 6 months. Now the window is 4-6 weeks and the CDC tells us 3 months. Trust The Scientists and not the Politicians.

hi

regards from india

In terms of HIV, once you experience "ARS" you would test positive.

By the way, if you have HIV, you would experience ARS. However the magnitude of symptoms and severity may differ from person to person.

Ok, my question then would be.......if a person has ARS "symptoms" at 2 weeks past exposure then they'd test positve by 2 weeks (after exposure)?

Also, if it is ARS, then according to everyone here, that happens no later than 2-4 weeks after exposure. So everyone with ARS would test positive no later than 4 weeks?????

Yes, 93% would by 4 weeks and the rest before 6 weeks, but the CDC and WHO are still saying 13 weeks is conclusive. This is to cover those with immune system problems, everyone would show HIV+ by 13 weeks if they were actually infected, even with the reasons given for delayed conversion.

hi

Average window period to produce antibodies is 25 days, which is consistent with ARS, which occurs around 2-4 weeks. Having said that every human being has different immune pattern and time to respond to the virus may vary from person to person.
