cold sore/pimple?

could a cold sore on the upper be lip at first be confused as a pimple? and would it indicate hpv if a cold sore, or does hpv show as clusters?

Cold Sores are HPV. Pimples are not.

Human papillomavirus (HPV) causes wart like symptoms and not the symptoms you mention. Having said that there are various other STD's like herpes, which may cause, symptoms you mention.

If you feel worried about the fact that you may may have put yourself at risk, you may want to get tested for various STD's,including HIV.
