I have had the following NEGATIVE tests:
Antibody Tests: 8, 10, 12, 13, 15, 17 wks Qual. DNA PCR's: 12(HIV-1, HIV-2), 15(HIV-1 Labcorp) wks P24 Antigen: 17wks
Had an ARS illness, worst flu of my life almost 3 months ago and still have thrush, vision fluctuations, ear ache and ringing and spleen and liver pain?
Can I count on the PCS's?

I am certainly not an expert, but I can tell you (and anyone else on this board will tell you the same) that you are conclusively negative!! Please be happy for your negative status. Have you gone to your doctor to figure out what is causing your symptoms? You could consider seeing an internist to get to the bottom of your problem, which is NOT HIV!! Love, Brianna

Thanks for your optimism. There have been cases of those who late converted. Not sure if they had DNA PCR's and P24 antigen testing after 2 months though... Doctor's can't explain what's going on as blood, urine and visual inspection yields no explanation. They are sending me to a psyciatrist and trying to load me up on anti-depressants which is exactly what modern medicine seems to do when they can't explain something or call it stress or lack of proper sleep which is all Bullshit. Thanks again for your reply.

No problem! From what I understand, the only late seroconverters have been on chemotherapy, used IV drugs every day for a few years, or are an organ transplant patients ....I doubt you fit those categories do you?

I don't fit those categories, however used to drink too much, too often, met a friendly stripper in a club, was unprotected which is how I ended up in this situation.

The Douchester, There was someone who posted in the "Safe sex and HIV prevention" forum w/ Dr Bob who after visiting the Frascino Group, and after having all his/ her symptoms evaluated, turned out to have Lyme disease. So, it wasn't HIV afterall but just a nasty condition caused by a tick...

Douchey, I see you've exhausted more avenues than I have and hope Dr. Steve can help. My experience has been similar in Canada with a 12 wk antibody test being conclusive and beyond that you better load up on anti-depressants if your blood and urine pass routine baseline inspection. Some doctors/public health units refused to continue testing me forcing me to invent multiple client names at various clinics... Have you considered finding a way to have your CD4's monitored to determine whether or not what you(we?) have is degrading your immune system with time? That'll be a challenge considering how crazy you'll be percieved now won't it...or is it all about $$$ somehow I wonder... I'm going to continue testing until 6 months and/or the symptoms stop. Sweating out another testing cycle with 5 month results this Tuesday. Pleae keep in touch, your E-mail address would be appreciated.

I'm going to have to agree w/Douche. You don't have what those tests are looking for, neither do we. I'm sorry that I can't make you feel better about you problem. Maybe you should book a flight to see Dr. Steve as well, you can come with Douche and I.

If your PCR is negative...why are u still posting here? I did many elisa's, and a PA, came out negative. But my PCR stands at 132 copies. The one taht should worry is me....not u. if i have PCR negative....praise the lord. howver, i am still praising the lord for my results so far. At least the negative has not been converted to positive!
Regards
