Thanks again for your reply. I have nothing swollen purple. My tongue is white at times throughout the day with pasty stuff that I can scrap off. Is this spit test for real? http://www.1stcandidacure.com/candidatest.html

hi
regards from india
Symptoms of oral thrush are white, cream-coloured, or yellow spots in the mouth.
There is normally no pain in the area underneath the spots. If you scrape off these spots, they leave small wounds that bleed slightly.
HIV diagnosis based on symptoms is incorrect, if you feel worried, you may want to test.
Goodluck

the oral yeast i was told i had was different than describe above. mine gave me a sour bitter taste in the back of mouth, no pain just the tip of my tongue felt as though i sucked on a straw to hard. i could brush it off but no sores under were present. now what i saw for research was that there are alot of different thrushs or oral yeast and the kind that just affects the tongue is not typical of a HIV related thrush. my understanding is an HIV related or immunosuppressed thrush is PAINFUL and affects not only the tongue but throat which you can see, gums, and checks
