Symptoms after negative test??

Hi everyone...
I had a negative test at 6 weeks, and the guy I was with also had a negative test at 6 weeks.
However, I have had a sore throat, swollen lymph nodes in my throat since about 5 weeks post exposure. My doctor prescribed me an antibiotic on Thursday, and today is Sunday and this hasn't improved.
Do I have a reason to be concerned regarding HIV?

Do I have a reason to be concerned regarding HIV? Answer this: If neither party is infected how can you contract HIV? Is it in the air in your area?
