first and last lap dance of my lifetime

3 weeks ago I went to a strip bar with my friends, being my first time, friends bought me a lap dance. During the dance, I sucked on her nipples for few seconds, kissed her ears by the ear ring (not dry) and finally she slipped her tongue into my mouth, kiss was wet I fellt it on my lips. I have a bad habit of biting my lips, peel the dry skin, this sometimes causes wounds on the lips. Not knowing this woman's status, if blood was present in the kiss or not, I am petrified now. I am constantly in the fear of contracting HIV. I intend to get tested at 3 months but this wait seems eternal and even then I won't have the courage to test. I am regretting going out with my friends, god knows how much I resisted going out that night but fate had it in store for me. LIfe's mysterious ways.
I am a married man with a beautiful wife and 2 kids and they are on vacation. I don't know what and how to tell my wife. A moment of weakness has wrecked my life, marriage, everything.

Your risk is minimal. I would not worry. I would also tell your wife. Be honest. You do not want to live a lie.

Totally agree with Franfrog. To give you some peace of mind, you would be the only person ever infected this way. It is literally almost impossible that you contracted the virus. Plus you do not know if the lap dancer is Pos. Stigma's always play a role in what we think, naturally we think of dancers, prostitutes, escorts, etc are all Positive when really they probably are safer than a lot of the "good women."

Try to relax. Hiv is not your problem. Anxiety , guilt and fear is though. If telling your wife will make you feel better, talk to her about it. It was just a lap dance ! RELAX !

not a chance... just relax, you do not have HIV, and will not in that way. enjoy your free time.

I'm not the original poster, but there is one thing that I'm afraid about fessing up to your girlfriend or wife; it's all the questions that will follow. In my case, my gf knows the girl that I got involved with, and she is married too. So, if I fess up, no doubt she will ask who was the girl.. and then what? Another lie? Or prepare for the worst? I know my case is different, if it was a lap dance I think I would tell her and feel better.

How about learning how HIV is transmitted? There is a great section explaining how the disease is transmitted on this site, and you did none of them. Maybe some self education is something that would help.

I know I said that I would not post but I feel like my experience gives me a right in this case.
If there is one thing I have learned from what happened to me is that strip clubs are EVIL places where ANYTHING can happen. To quote Joe Rogan (host from FearFactor) who was doing a cameo on the Family Guy. "Strippers are crazy bitches". A lot of strip clubs are fronts for money laundering and are run by drug dealers or biker gangs.
Lesson learned the hard way. I will never step foot inside a peeler bar ever again!

I am the original poster, I have read and re-read the different posts and read about how the HIV transmission takes place. I keep thinking of the what if's. like if somebody else has sucked on her nipples before me, I am pretty sure somebody must have because this happened to me at the end of the night. Also, she must have sores in her mouth, which may have been bleeding or there may have been other infectious fluids, on and on... I guess This is my mind playing tricks on me. I keep checking my temperature, not with thermometer, just hand. Temperature keeps going up and down ,have bad headaches. I don't know anything anymore..I am lost and worried. I will definitely tell my wife.

Dude, read some of the posts by EricF. A stripper DOUCHED in his face. If everyone is telling him to chill out despite his crazy symptoms (over 30), you can imagine what they are going to tell you.

I am the original poster, I don't know what was your experience but your post has increased my worries. I do appreciate your honesty though. I always avoided going to these places in the past but this time I don't know what happened I didn't put up enough fight with my friends, I caved and here I am today repenting it. I am just praying everything will be OK with me.

I wasn't trying to scare you, sorry if that's how you interpreted it. I was trying to point out that your strip club experience was no where are bad as mine was, nor did you have symptoms anywhere near as severe as I did.
I was merely pointing out that I have learned one important thing from this mess and that is strip clubs are BAD. I don't think you have HIV though, so that is good.

I am the original poster, I will definitely tell my wife but not sure how. Back home in my country, India this is how HIV is spreading. Husbands cheat come home and give it to unsuspecting wife's. I won't be that guy, I would rather die alone. Ravi may relate to this very well.
