Hiv pcr testing?

Hi, would a hiv pcr test be best to get if you have ohl(hairy tongue on the tongue and white creamy cheeks)? I am past the 6month window period. Last negative was Jan 01. Last exposure was June 2000. Thanks and God Bless.

You could have a PCR and/or another antibody test. From a 6 month negative standpoint, you're probably fine. But if this continues to concern you, get tested again. The PCR is expensive, between 3-400 dollars. You could do the antibody test anonymously for free. There must be an anonymous testing center in your area.
Sounds like you're OK, but if you need more reassurance, test again. Good luck and be healthy.

Has your o.h.l. been diagnosed by a doctor or dentist? If not, you should see your dentist for an appropriate diagnosis.
