I am antibody negative as of 20 1/2 weeks since my exposure. I still experience several symptoms and can't understand what is going on with my body. I finally had my doctor to order a more extensive test, but I think he ordered the wrong one. It says on the lab report HIV1 rna quantitative bDNA <50 copies. So, nothing was detected, but after reading about this test I realized he should have ordered the Qualitive PCR for a definite answer. Is it possible that after 5 1/2 months with no therapy to have an undetectable viral load <50 and a negative antibody and still be infected? I'm so tired of worrying and just wish my doctor would have made sure to order the right test? Any responses will be greatly appreciated!!!! God Bless

I don't think your symptoms are related to HIV after all those tests that you had and you should get a second opinion if you are not comfortable with your doctor.
Stress can cause serious illness.
I'll be praying for you, keep us posted, God Bless you.
