receiving oral sex from partner with bleeding gums

Hello...great job on the boards everyone. I am fretting over here, and wonder if you can help. I am female, and I received oral sex from a man with a sketchy sexual history. He has very poor teeth, and I assume bleeding gums, although I can't be sure of that. He had just brushed his teeth before this happened. The oral sex was pretty rough, and I'm scared that I may have contracted HIV from his blood entering my vagina...any advice? I mean, am I worrying over nothing or is this a likely route of transmission? I'm waiting for test results right now, but could use some support in the meantime. Thanks so much!

It's me again...I received my test results today...negative!!! I wish the same for all of you. And if it helps, HIV is rather hard to catch according to the counselor I talked to today. Many "symptoms" could be due to anxiety. The mind is a very powerful thing! Best of luck.
