what would be the chance of having hiv after 2 elisa test were neg 3 trs after the last exposure but having some symptoms such as scaly places on face, bands around some of my gums and small petcheie spots on arms could the tests be wrong or should i look for some other reason im having this trouble thanks a lot

i think maybe you need to test again 3 yrs still could be wrong i would consider hiv if your having these symptoms and you tested neg before you staring having these symptoms yes you can still have hiv

2 Negative Elisa tests are more than enough 3 years after possible exposure. I dont know who wrote the first response but the window period in 3-6 months after exposure NOT 3 YEARS!!! Talk to your doctor about other causes for your symptoms.
