Sinking skin around the eyes

Hi guys.. it's me again. Another change that I have seen since I was exposed about 9 wks ago, is that the skin around my eyes got dark, and some sinking there.. also at the sides of my nose. That happened around the first week after exposure, though I recognize that's when I was freaking out the most.. not getting enough sleep.. but I also wonder if this is a symptom. I will be testing next saturday (a week from tomorrow) - 10 weeks for peace of mind. Please have this cowboy in your prayers... Howdy from The LoneStar State.

All HIV+ people run around with our gums receding and our skin sinking about the eyes. That's why we're so easy to pick out in a crowd.
None of your health concerns that you have brought up matter in terms of your status. Just test at the appropriate time.

I didn't understand the first part.. Don't tell me that this is suggestive that I have it.. Of course I make myself thing that anxiety and lack of sleep is what caused that sinking skin back then. I will keep thinking that way until I test. Next Week !!

I was pointing out that neither of those health issues, the skin and the ginivitis are any type of indicator of HIV.
The fact you ask if it is must mean that you think those of us with HIV all run around with sinking eye sockets and rotting teeth, otherwise why ask if we think that either is an indicator of HIV?

I wasn't referring to those as indicators to infected people, but to ARS. But I get your point, and agree.. symptoms or health issues mean nothing when it comes to diagnosing. Thanks.

I got a nice laugh today.
I haven't slept in about a week, I'm so worried about getting tested in 6 days. Normally I only sleep about 4 hours a night but now I don't even get that. And my eyes look awful and some kids was like: haha you look like you're dying of THE AIDS!
I was like HAH. Kid, if you only knew.
