Do you all believe that 95% of people seroconvert within a month? Therefore a 7 or 8 week test is probably accurate? I don't know, I feel anxious, but don't know if I should be feeling very relieved or not. I just keep reading the 95% on one month figure posted here and I called the GMHC and they said that also. Do you all think the GMHC is reliable in saying that? I think the NY State Health Dept also says that, but the CDC will not even comment on that. I'd at least liek the CDC to say, "yes most peopel seroconver within a month, but get retested at 3 and 6 months just to be absolutely sure". What do you all think?

It can take many years for your counseling to help if you really think it takes many years to seroconvert.

I think that the 6 months is now shrunk to 3 months and the 3 months will be shrunk to 1 month withing 5 years HIV is only 20 years of being studied I tested @ 7 weeks and feel good about the NEG. antibodies can be detected w/ the new ELISA tests ! god bless. take care. be safe.
