Real score on ARS
      #17693 - 05/03/01 01:36 AM

There have been many posts on ARS this past few days. I guess my real question is how long does ARS typically last since some people say a few days to 10 weeks. What is the typical or common time that ARS lasts and is it common for some symptoms to dissappear and some to linger on for weeks or for symptoms to come back and forth.

ARS typically lasts about a week. Most typically the symptoms resemble the flu or mono. The symptoms come at once (like the flu) and leave at once. They don't linger. They don't come and go. It's been my experience on this board that people with lingering symptoms, symptoms that come and go or an increase in the number of different symptoms ultimately test negative and find the cause of their 'ARS' was stress.
