I am not a doctor, but I can tell you waht I've read.. I did too much searching on the internet b/c I have swollen neck and groin glands. If you get a cold. the flu.. or some other infection, glands can swell and stay swollen for a long time. I even read that some people have glands that are swollen for a lifetime. Have you tested?

i am HIV+ and have never had a "symptom" or "symptoms" that would have led me to believe i was HIV+... ever. they found my HIV by accident. thought i had ovarian cancer, turned out to be chlamydia. it was because i was HIV+ that the infection got so bad. my ID estimates that i've been poz for atleast 5-6 years. so don't stress they symptoms. could just be a cold. it is flu season & your stressed. take a deep breath & chock this one up to experience. i saw a commercial the other day that was quoting people. one caught my attention (don't remember who said it) but it was something like - if you can't lead by good example, you serve as a horrible warning- guess which one i am. get tested, and get tested regularly. knowing is half the battle. my thoughts are with you.

I missed out on the entire ARS deal. If I had it, I dismissed it as a flu.. Good for you for getting tested. Then you will know whats going on...

hi
regards from india
If your exposure was a year and half ago, why are waiting?? get tested ASAP! speculating would not lend any help, only increase anxiety and stress.
Evaluation of your status based on symptoms is not right.
Goodluck
