I was wondering if anyone has experience with eczema, and if it could be relatated to early HIV infection?

Thanks for the answer. In the 13 week waiting period, and have eczema behind my ear- a new thing for me. Just my anxiety linking the two I suppose.

Assuming what you have is eczema (did a Dr. tell you that - self-diagnosis is dangerous!), here is a detailed article on the subject (basically what you need to know is that there are lots of types and lots of causes and, as you have been told, no link to HIV): http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Excema
However, the thing I thought you may find of most interest was this statement:
"Stress and anxiety can make otherwise minor outbreaks spread in some people. Deep unresolved or suppressed emotions are believed by some to be expressed externally in the form of physical skin conditions such as dermatitis (this being borne out by increased irritation at times of emotional upset such as anger or stress)."
So it is quite possible that your anxiety is actually contributing to this physical symptom.
God bless!

hi
regards from india
never heard off, i do not see any relation whatsoever and by the way, judging your status on the basis of symptoms experienced is incorrect.
if you feel you have put yourself at risk, test at 12 weeks.
Goodluck
