I have a lot of pain and hiv -symptoms after a risk.(lymph-pain,body pain, skinproblems and more) Every day severe symptoms and pain !!! Not in my head! Another malady was not founded. I have done 5 elisa-tests for hiv1 and hiv 2 about 14 months. And I have done 2 proviral pcr-dna-tests for hiv1 and hiv 2 .(after 5 and 10 months) All tests neg.! Nothing is sure...(tests) I am sure to be infected in the light of my symptoms. And very hopeless. What would you do? Is hiv sometimes undetectable? Please answer me. Thank you

you need to stop testing. you are negative. don't let the fear of having hiv, keep you from living. our bodies react the way our mind tells it to. so if you feel you have hiv, your body is going to react to you telling it you have hiv. stop searching for symptoms of hiv and go live life...... when you get to the point you think you are done living....... live some more.
my next suggestion is to talk to a counselor.

You have conclusively tested HIV- and the problems you are experiencing are not from HIV. Your best bet is go see a doctor and/or a psychologist, the doctor to find out what is really wrong with you since you are not one and self diagnosis is dangerous. The things people say are HIV symptoms and can only be that are very wrong, the symptoms can be attributed to hundreds of other diseases that if not taken care of can kill you much faster and also can not be taken care of with any medications if a person waits too long thinking it can only be one thing. Also a psychologist to take care of your mindset thinking that you are a doctor and can diagnose what is wrong with you by reading on the internet, that is just crazy.

G man, thank you. Other maladys were not founded. My Doc. mean it is a psychical Problem. But my problems and pain is NOT only in my head. Gman,you have a lot of experience in hiv. Is it possible to have neg. elisas AND pcr-tests after more than 1 year -but to be infected? Thank you.

Did u do a CD4/CD8 and CBC. A series of these tests of 6-8 months will reveal something. Though ur symptoms are very non-specific.
Do bDNA instead of RT-PCR. It can catch few more clades. But elisa+PCR after 1 year rule out every possible clades known to mankind. Unless you can prove clinically u have some immuno problem by decreasing cd4 count over a period of time. No one is going to listen to your self diagnosis, unless u can prove it.

do u have sores on your palm? i have sores on both my palms and is burning....and eventough i am at 173 days at least from my exposure, i am still testing. Even all the people here say that i am well, i am really not sure as i do have swelling under my armpits. I do have a small swell on the joint of my right leg and my torso, i did have diarea about 3 days, then it stopped.Maybe due to me not eating much as i am fasting. I have scallop toungue, but my dentist say it is normal.So what more can i do??it is like waiting to die??
