I wouldn't even imagine i would be in such a situation 3 months back. I had a good job, had a nice gf, morally correct, never had unsafe sex in my life, and i was -ve (tested). Then came that dreaded night when i had a indiscretion at my friends request. Deep kissing and insertive oral for few seconds, followed by handjob with her saliva. I never thought this could be any risk. I started having most of the ARS betwwen 1-3 week. Then had a seizure. Had a brain surgery as they found an OI in the brain. Told gf abt everything (avoided intimacy after the exposure), she left me and hooked up with another guy. By 5 week had cd4 416 andd cd8 432. only hope was my 6 week oraquick and pcr-rna -ve. Tomorrow the 3 month elisa/blot results are going to be out. I know the virus doesnt discriminate. But why was i so unlucky, I dont know. Thanks everyone who had been so helpful here.

It would be different if you had a viable risk for HIV infection, BUT YOU DON'T, test anyway to confirm your negative status.
