I don't kn ow....but I do know that you can get esophageal candiasis even if you are NEG....if you were at risk...get tested...but don't think you have HIV based upon a symptom.

Maybe. But is also, possibily equally, possible to get run over by a bus. Neither of these events in any way indicate that HIV was the cause and the only why to know if you have HIV is to test at 13 weeks past your last potential exposure.
A more scientific explanation would be that it is highly unlikely that HIV would have done the necessary damage to your immune system in only a matter of months to make such an infection occur.
Are you sure that is what you have? Did a doctor diagnose it or did you? If it is you, that is no good at all....get yourself to a doctor.
If you are worried about a possible exposure to HIV, go get tested. That is the only way to know.
