      #168288 - 12/31/05 03:03 PM

I was wondering if when you donate plasma and they test your enzyme levels in your liver and stuff does it have to do with hiv.I'm wondering becuase i was told my enzyme levels were low when they tested my plasma and they needed to take 2 tubes of blood for testing and i cannot donate until they come back?could this be for hiv and can they detect hiv in initial enzyme tests of plasma.please let me know im going crazy trying to figure out what low liver enzymes or low enymes can mean.thanks

I AM NOT A DOCTOR...I AM NOT AN EXPERT...BUT I have read that liver enzymes are tested in relation to Hepatitis. I DO NOT know....but this MAY be more likely than HIV.
