I came to find out that I may have been exposed to the HIV virus. The person I was with penetrated me without a condom and then we stopped for a condom. After finding out that he was HIV + I went straight to the hospital and recieved 15 days of preventive meds. He said he didn't cum in me but you never know. Does anyone know how effective this preventive measure can be. I did it within the 72 hour zone. I dont know what to think and am scared to death! I later found out that this person said, " I am going to infect anyone who crosses my path because I wasn't told"

im no doctor, but id say to be sure to follow up with atleast another test. The thing is, in todays world, theres people who say they have it, and theres people who say they dont....unfortunately ,ya just cant believe whats always said. Its best for you to just get tested for your own peace of mind. and since you are now scared and posting here, be sure to read up on all the preventive info on how to avoid exposure. As for the other guy, if thats what he's really doing, depending where he's from, there are laws in place to remove him from society. Just worry about you & take care of you, and realize that a person could have this for a long time, and not even know it,if they dont get tested. By the time i was tested, i was full blown, doctor estimates i've been actively carryin it for 10+ years, but thats no ones fault but my own. I shoulda cared enough about myself to have gotten tested. Good Luck & God Bless.
