How common is it to get it during 5-6 weeks of exposure? This is the only symptom that is consistent and not going away.. PLZ HELP
I had anxiety disorder earlier but never had tingling (unless during panic attacks)...this one is consistent and burns too...I looked over anxiety forum and that says that it is caused only during hyperventilation (rapid breathing) and I am not doing that at night when I am asleep. Plus it is painful too..it is sharp pains...anyone experience this during ARS phase?

what you are sending is a description of "neuropothy"...which usually only occur for people who have been infected with hiv for a long time. (and usually occurs from the medication). This is NOT an ARS. i'm not saing it is in your head. but when you find a symptom on line....and you sit there, then think about what your body is feeling.....even when you FEEL tingling in your feet....(which EVERYONE does)...you are going to assume that it is becuase of hiv. neuropothy is not an early sypmtom in hiv.

Hey worry wart...I just received the best Christmas present ever! My Hiv test was negative! I am not at high risk at all, but have been having major symptoms and probably created many from stress and anxiety. I even have tongue lesions! Very uncommon in non HIV, but regardless I have them. Night sweats, tingling hands and feet, vision changes, swollen lymph nodes, etc. I have not slept in two months. There might be something else wrong with me, but whatever it is I can deal with it! I am stronger than I ever thought I was. I know you can also. I hope every everything turns out as fabulous for you.

WOW, Congratulation.. I know what you mean by "i can handle whatever else is wrong with me" !!! Congratulation man. I am so happy for you? Was it a 4 wk, 6 wk or 12wk? How did they deliver the results to you? Did you have to go in person?
If you had swollen lymph nodes and tingling hands too. Are they gone after the good news?

I got my antibody results and STD results back today also - NEGATIVE!!!
Woooooooo Hooooooooo - hang in there WW.
I had tingly arms and hands, sweats, swollen glands and even weird lumps in my arm pits. It scared the crap outta me. I'm gonna sleep for a full day tonight!

Symptoms pertaining to ARS 5-6 weeks post exposure are unlikely and the fact that you have not experienced any other symptom further makes it more unlikely that the symptoms you experience are related to ARS.
If you feel worried you may want to get your symptoms evaluated from your health care provider, concluding your status based on symptoms is incorrect.
