I keep reading that is hard for a woman to give HIV to a man. If that is the case, how do heterosexual non-drug using men get infected then? They have to be infected by a woman at some point.

It is not impossible....just less likely. The chances are greater if the man is not circumcised...and things such as other STDs, viral load, etc. all play a factor. If a man has lesions on his penis he has a more direct route for transmission as opposed to an intact penis. So, while many men do get it from hetero sex, it is LESS common then MSM or IUD or male to female.

I agree with faith but also heterosexual couples practice anal sex as well MSM and that could account for some of the infections too bottom line always use CONDOMS not matter vaginal of anal.

Do not listen to the other fucks giving advice. If you practice safe sex, you will not become positive. I am positive, I am an MD. I was fucking stupid, but did tons of research after the fact. Heterosexual, non-drug using men make a fuckng mistake and do not become strictly heterosexual and non-drug using. If you did not cross the line then do not worry. I know this is the question you are asking even though you did not ask.
