HIV and recurrent yeast

I am concerned about having HIV and too scared, too broke and too busy to find time to take a test. I had one sexual partner since my last test. He lived here with me for several months before I realized he was using drugs and who knows what else he was out there doing. Since then, I have had recurrent vaginal yeast infections. I went to a clinic here in town and was tested for everything while he lived here. I never made it back downtown for the HIV results, but it would not even tell the story since we were still having sex. Are recurrent or resistant yeast infections common in the first year of infection or am I just paranoid? Any advice would be nice. Thanks in advance. LIFE SUCKS
