So made it through the window period and during that time all i could think about was i cant wait to be tested now that it is time i am very scared, even though i know my risk was reall really low. I am starting a new relationship and feel i need to be tested but i am scared to do so my exposure was protected oral and vaginal with a sex worker at a bachalor party really scared looking for support?

You have nothing to worry about. Take the test and move on. If sex workers were HIV positive they would go out of business pretty quick.

you said protected? then why the hell are u worrying about it. dit it break or somethin???? hiv cant just pass through microscopic holes in condoms, it has to break. and u did use it forl oral too. so seeing that u are so nervous i am assuming the condom broke?

I am the original poster no the condom did not break but i did have some wierd symptoms several weeks after the event that worried me i know symptoms cant diagnose that risk should be evaluated by the sexual act not the symptoms but i am still worried.

I would not overly worry yourself about this. you did wear protection and you KNOW that symptoms mean nothing in reagrds to hiv. but please keep in mind, if you are starting a new relationship, (and i'm sure you know this).....but as you do not know her status, please keep up the good use of the condoms.

hi
regards from india
If protected blowjob was your exposure, you had no risk to begin with and testing certainly is unwarrented, however if you still feel worried and anxious you may want to test( i am advising testing only to relieve anxiety and stress and not because you were at risk).
A test now would be accurate and yo can concentrate on the relationship you seek to begin.
goodluck
stay well
take care
god bless you

I don't know why it is taking the test is the easy part the hardest part is that is getting the resutles back thats the hardest part. and still waiting for and take almost two months to get the test back its been only two weeks.

As long as you were protected during your encounter you should be fine. But as you enter into a new relationship, make sure to have your new partner tested, just in case.... and in the meantime use condoms
