Hi, I just have a question about the statistics of new infections in the US each year. There are 295 million people in the US. and one can only begin to imagine the acts of unprotected oral, anal, and vaginal sex that take place each day. I saw a commerical that said there will be 40,000 new infections in the US each year. Is that number a little conservative taking into account the amount of people in this country? Can someone explain? Thanks.
