Oral Sex
      #165318 - 11/26/05 06:05 AM

About 7 weeks ago I had unprotected oral sex with no ejaculation (receptive). I talked to the guy a few times about it, but he assures me that he is fine, and thinks its riduculous that I'm freaking out. Today I had achy elbows, which was weird bc that never happens to me. I also have swollen lympth nodes in my neck and one under my arm. I know I should get tested, I don't really know why I'm posting. I guess for some opinions or reassurance?

hi

regards from india

Relax, i do not see any cause of concern as far as HIV is concerned and testing is unwarrented, however sexually transmitted disease other than HIV could be transmitted through this route.

goodluck

stay well

take care

wait, maybe you guys don't understand my question...receptive is the one when you are performing the oral on someone else, right? It is the one with the higher odds. How come I don't have to worry??

1. You don't know his status (according to him he is -ve ) which is good.

2. Oral sex is considered very low risk.

3. He didn't ejaculate.

I read your "receptive oral sex" to mean that you received it. But I guess you performed it. The risk is higher, but if it was oral sex only, your risk is still close to nil.

Yea the terms receptive and insertive confuse me. I think receptive is when you perform though. Close to nil? That's reassuring. I'm just worried because 5 1/2 weeks after it happened I had chills for 24 hours (I was stressed because of two term papers that were due the next day, guilt about cheating, and neurotic), but I have never experienced chills before, but I also have never been stressed like this. And now, 8 weeks after, I have a slight pain in my forearm (yesterday and today), and sometimes a pain in my elbows. Why are all these weird things happening?
