What does HIV rash look like?

Someone else asked this not long ago. You might scroll down to find the answers. But in short, it's a "maculopapular" rash, which means red bumps on the skin. It's usually symmetrical (affecting both sides of the body equally) and usually on the trunk, though it can be on the neck. It may itch or it may not. And a lot of people don't get it at all.
