HIV 2 and Subtype O

I have done some research on HIV 2 and Subtype O but haven't found any definitive information on whether or not the current antibody tests pick up these strains. As for me, so far so good I tested negative at six weeks. Still I'm a little worried, though not like I was, about the fact that my exposure was in SE Asia where you could get anything. I KNOW HIV 2 exists almost only in West Africa, BUT it's getting around, as is subtype O, especially in SE Asia. I just wondered if anyone knew whether the current antibody tests at the State annonymous tests sites are "approved" for this strain and subtype. Thanks in advance Joe
