what are thrush symptoms

I am just curious as to what the symptoms of thrush are. I know this may sound silly but does it resemble a plaque buildup on the tounge? Im not saying that I dont brush my tongue but I just want to know if they look similar.......

Thrush involves underlying tissue. It is not just a superficial accumulation on your tongue. If it's true thrush it may bleed or be a raw, ragged sore on the inside of your cheek, roof of your mouth or tongue.

i had thrush about a week and a half ago. it sucks. it feels like someone took an iron and steamed rolled my tongue!!!! it hurt like hell. my tongue had spots all over it and a blood blister on one side. if the stuff won't scrape off, then you probably need to be seen by a doctor for true diagnosis.

I thought I read that thrush would scrape off easily... and thought it was also a white creamy like substance??? left red spots or areaas if it did (yes/ no)
You/d mentioned string cheese like stuff- please explain...
What if you have that and it doesnt' hurt or "feel like an iron was on your tongue"? is it still thrush??
The web lists different types of thrush??

true thrush hurts like hell. you can have other types of oral infections. my "string chees" ordeal was not true thrush. it was just an oral infection. the doctor this last time took a tongue depressor to my tongue and it was all i could do to keep from deballing him. he scrapef that depressor down my tongue and brought tears to my eyes!!!! i don't know about red spots, but i know i had a blood blister, which threw my doc for a loop.
the string cheese, was just that, it was stringy and something i really have a hard time explaining. it was a substance that i could roll into a ball or pull it out of my mouth in strings, it was white, kinda creamy like, kinda clear, and definatelt strange. it has started again in the last 2 days.
my mouth has just been a sespool for the last 2 months. annoying as hell!!!!!!!!!! like i told someone else, i guess it is from 2 many years of sucking dick....ha ha ha
