The only risk I can think of Ive had is wearing an HIV person's worn clothes. First, I should say that my tongue has always been craggly and cracky. But I have a white bump-thing on the side of my tongue. I think there MIGHT be a little white growth but my mom says she doesnt see any. My mom said it is normal for your tongue to have little splits and things on the side. I also heard OHL/thrush comes at the later stages on HIV infection, is this true? Do I have it?

thrush looks like cottage cheese, whips off easy and usually leaves a bright red spots and or blood....if it don't hurt, your fine

honestly, if you have not put yourself at any risk then you don't belong here.....you have ZERO to worry about except your ignorance about HIV.....learn the facts first!

Wearing clothes from an HIV positive person presents no risk at all. You CANNOT get HIV this way. And your Mom is right -- it's normal to have some white areas on your tongue. It means nothing.
