RASH - bottom line

What is the bottom line on the rash. I hear measel-like and spotted, macularpoplar (or something like that) which involves samll, raised lesions. Most of these are on the upper trunk, neck, and face. Then, I hear sunburn-like rash. Gosh, these are two totally different descriptions. I've seen two pics of the rash, and they both appear rather spotted ...... but this "sunburn" thing opens up a different can of worms. So ..... spotted, or sunburn?

Each persons body responds to HIV in different ways. It could present as a rash in either way. HIV does,however, present with a constellation of symptoms - not just a rash. In any case the rash is a symptom and you now what we say about symptoms - Don't diagnose by them.
