The rash is generally on your trunk...that can be chest and/or back. But, rashes can be caused by MANY things. have you used a new detergent, soap or shampoo, have you taken an antibiotic, because a rash can be a sign of an allergic reaction to any of these things. There are many viruses that can cause a rash...viruses that are harmless and common. Do not assume because you have a rash that you have HIV....even if you have placed yourself at risk. Symptoms DO NOT equal HIV. If y ou live in a warm climate and it has been humid lately it could be heat/sweat related....there are a million simple and harmless explanations for a rash. So, if you have placed yourself at risk, get tested....but don't diagnose yourself based upon a rash.
