Why does planned parenthood still recommend 6 months for an antibody test?

Because they are going by the most conservative and old testing statistics, even if they are using first generation tests 3mo is what the CDC and the WHO use and they are almost as conservative with there time line as PP is.

I am curious as to which Planned Parenthood would be using a 6 month window? I am a nurse and have done some work at a few PP's around here and they are using a 3 month window, but during counselling will offer the information including most people seroconvert within 6 weeks. Maybe it is taking time for everyone to catch up with the most recent information available.

I am in California. This is where they told me 6 months. The planned parenthood I went to uses quest diagnostics for there blood work.
