raised bump on my back
      #159563 - 09/05/05 08:03 PM

hi, i posted last week. I put myself at high risk about 6 yrs ago with someone i did not know his status. Six years later and i feel great but I am noticing a bump on my back that looks like karposis sarcoma. Its is like the size of a pea a little raised and it is slightly redish purplish color. I am freaking out. I am going to get tested soon. When do you get karposis sarcoma. How could I have a lesion if I feel great. Could this just be anxiety?? please help me

No one can diagnose you over the Internet. Just go to the doctor and have them look at the spot. It's as easy as that. And meanwhile, don't freak out, because it could be a million things besides HIV, including such harnless problems as a boil or a mole.
