How does this actually work? If a man has unprotected vaginal sex with an HIV+ women, what are his chances of getting the virus? Do a women's vaginal fluids have to contain a certain amount of the virus, even if some does get into the tip of the penis? If the guy gets some HIV+ vaginal fluid in the tip of his penis, and then he ejaculates, does this propel the fluid out?
Thanks in advace.

your chances with a one time encounter are very low. but alot of factors would play a role. her viral load and such. even if undetectable, there is still a slight risk. (and yes, the concentration of the virus is higher in the blood that it is the vaginal fluids). but please dont let this information eat you up. I have been poz for over 10 yrs, and my husband and I have had a couple of incidents where the condom has broke, and he has never gotten hiv. so please dont worry yourself about a one time encounter. but to put your mind at ease, you should really be tested 3 months after the exposure.
good luck, love and prayers, debbie
