Should I re-test?
      #157684 - 07/24/05 05:23 AM

I have a tough question that I would like people's opinions on.

I have been feeling 'unwell' for the last 3 1/2 months. It started off at a 'fogginess' 'altered' 'blurriness' feeling. The doctor took a CBC, etc and found nothing. He then asked me to take STD tests. I was nervous as well. I then developed white patches on my gums and tongue. The HIV test came back negative...however, the sheet from the lab didn't come back...I only knew from a nurse at my doctors office who phoned down with my id number. I was sort of relieved to find out that I was negative yet other symptoms developed including many floaters, blothes on my skin, white stuff continuous in my mouth and tongue, still altered/foggy feeling. I have been debating if I should re-test for hiv/aids. I am or have been an active sexually gay male for the last 4 years. I have never been tested before since the time in April. I have had numerous partners. What do you think I should do. Should I trust the test that happened in April?
