UK lad here that needs to have a HIV test done but the only problem being that my local GU clinic is only open on Tuesday afternoons between 12 and 4 and I cannot get down there due to my work. I was wondering if my local GP can do them and whether it takes longer than than it would at the GU clinic.

hi. I live in the US not the UK, but i know that any doctor including General Practitioner (GP)'S can order tests. If you are very concerned, you ought to try your best to get off of work and get the test, but if that is impossible, then of course your GP can do it. just ask
