I know this may be a bit unorthodox, but I had my HIV test today and I was wondering if anyone could pray for me. I really believe in the power of prayer, and I do not have many people to pray for me right now because I am keeping this test private for the time being. I have a full week ahead of me of sitting and agonizing over this, and I could really use the prayer and support of others. If you would like to read the story that I posted, here is the link:

I happen to be Jewish, but I believe in one g-d, and I feel that the power of prayer encompasses all religions and beliefs. Thank you, and g-d bless you all.

i am a catholic male who believes in god i had a bad encounter myself but tested negative at 13 weeks, i prayed every dayand was in church every day it hlped me alot and god was there for me as he will be for you

Hi I'm a 17 year old catholic who believes that God's power can overcome any difficult situation. I am glad that you are praying and going to church, cuz that shows that you trully have faith in GOD. Don't worry, you will test negative. Keep praying as so will I. Take care, and pliz reply when u get ur results.

You are all so amazing! Thank you for all of your support, it is exactly what I needed right now. I just wish I could be sedated for the next week. Waiting like this is destroying me.
Any suggestions for making the waiting period less traumatic?

Hey Chaia, well you should do as I am doing( i had a small/nonexistant risk when i french kissed a sexworker and she bit my lip). I try to forget about it, and eat healthy, and most importantly do exercise. Go to the gym or go play a sport. If u dont like to exercise then go to the movies, hang out with ur friends, but GO OUT!!! It helps alot to clear ur head off and stop worrying about HIV. If the only thing u do is think and stress, you will get STRESS symptoms which MAAANY are related to HIV symptoms. So go out and try to have fun. Keep praying.
