Hello friends I had high risk exposure 2 months ago with an infected man. I know that i have to wait, but i need to ask. 20 days after I have a negative Elisa 3rd generation. But my strong ARS synthomps appeared on the 4th week: pharyngits, fever, swollen nodes, weight loss. 50 days after that exposure I had a Qualitative PCR negative. I know that is not conclusive, but is a good sign. Please I need to know if someone knows about any "false negative" before in this kind of tests?

The PCR does not give a false negative. It ihas been know to give a few false positive...better known as blips.
