I have another question, is thrombocytopenia which is a low platelet count in your blood considered to be an ARS symptom or is it considered to be the onset of the virus? Another question is what are the symptoms for this disorder?

Well first off ARS and the onset of the virus would seem to be one and the same. No it is not an ARS symptom.
While there are studies that show that people that are infected and have lower CD4's and CD8's are prone to it. It wouldn't seem to pertain to someone newly infected. Also it appears there are several reasons for having this condition that have nothing to do with HIV.
As far as the symptoms....didn't bother to look, but just type Thrombocytopenia in your search engine and have it.
If your actual question goes along the lines of....I have low platelet count does this mean I have HIV? Don't play the symptom game. The only way to know is to get a test.
