caution to worried wells
      #155852 - 06/06/05 02:36 PM

just a quick story for some of those here who think that they might be infected,

about three months ago, my wife began to have symptoms very similar to those of ars

night sweats, fever, swollen glands, red patchy hives, liver dysfunction, joint pain, and severely itchy skin, she was tested for every infectious disease and rheumatoid condition, except hiv, her doctor then said, you need to be tested for hiv, all the symptoms match.

predictably, we both had heart attacks, and proceeded to delve into our sexual histories, including some recent infidelity, we were in full panic mode, one week later the test returned, and sure enough, nothing, negative.

it was then that we were refered to an oncologist, hodgkins disease, all that itching, its the dead giveaway, so, if any of you got back your negative tests, and you are ready to woo hoo, do so after a cancer screening as well, its not always just paranoia.

its no hiv, but chemo is a bitch. be well everyone.

Make sure your wife takes Zofran after the chemo. It helps with nausea. I took it for extreme nausea during the pregnancy with my daughter.
