Hi, pray that all are well. I was just wondering the opinion on the FDA approved home access hiv-1 test. Should I be comfortable with the negative results? Or would the doctor's office results be more reliable? Thanks for the answers. GOD BLESS.

Howdy..
As long as you used the FDA approved Home Access and you waited 6 months from your possible exposure, it is considered very accurate.
Although I am a strong supporter of the 3 month window, I mention the 6 month waiting period because the Home Access HIV-1 test is a first generation antibody test. If it has been less than 6 months but more than 3 months, I might suggest going to the doctor and having a 3rd generation antibody test which is much more sensitive than the 1st generation.
Best of luck and God Bless....
Tex
