I am concerned because I got vaginal fluids in a recent burn. I know that this is a theoretical risk but I am undergoing considerable symptoms indcluding nerve problems. I read that a n eedlestick injury should be tested out till 6 months does that mean I need to test till then to be absoloutley sure?

Was this vaginal fluid from a known HIV+ person? Was your burn absolutely fresh? If no to one or both of these questions, your risk is extremely low and does not prompt testing at 6 months. If you have symptoms (your symptoms sound very non-specific), modern antibody test will always turn positive within a maximum of four weeks after sympton onset.
